March Break Intensive Camp

9:00 – 12:00, 1:00 – 4:00

We’ll be focusing on few different aspects over the course of the week:

1) New team dances for 2012 Oireachtas.
2) An in depth stretch and strength segment, particularly focusing on increasing flexibility and injury prevention.
3) New solo steps, including traditional sets, treble reels, and individual tweaks to Champ level steps.
4) Nationals prep.
5) Dance routines for St. Patrick’s Day performances

- Camp is open to students grade 1 – 12, and beginners over 6
- Half day program available
- The lunch hour will be supervised

DVDs

Starting Monday February 13th, DVD’s of both the 2011 December Recital and the Capitol Theatre performance of MODERN will be on sale at the studio. If you ordered one in advance, your copy(s) will be ready for pick-up. If you didn’t order in advance you can request via the comments or email and you’ll be able to pick up your disc next week.

Both videos were shot using two high definition cameras, and presented in widescreen with chapters markers for each dance.

You can grab either disc for $10 a piece.

Irish Fire is Going to China!

At the very top end of our performance program is our professional show called “Irish Fire: A Dancing Story of Love and Desire”.
The show employs our own top level dancers 16 years and older and has successfully toured many many theatres across Ontario.

Starting this December however, we’re taking the show international, beginning with our first date in Beijing China. We’ve been booked by the Intercontinental Hotel Beichen to headline their Christmas Eve Gala.

In total, nine dancers and one musician will be making the trip for the performance.

We’re happy to be able to provide opportunities like this to our dancers who have invested deeply with all of their time, effort and funds to have reached such a high level of excellence.

And this is only the beginning…
